- The 2024-2025 FKF Premier League is scheduled to end on Sunday, June 22 with several crunch matches.
- Some of the clubs like Murang’a SEAL, Bidco United and Posta Rangers will be aiming to win their matches and hopefully avoid relegation from the FKF Premier League.
- Two clubs from the FKF Premier League will be relegated while one will compete in the promotion/relegation play-off.
After months of nail-biting finishes and drama, several clubs including Murang’a SEAL, Nairobi City Stars and Bidco United find themselves in the FKF Premier League relegation battle.
With their stay in the FKF Premier League in danger, these clubs particularly Murang’a SEAL and Bidco United will need to be at their absolute best and hope that fate favors them on Sunday to pull off an escape.
Murang’a SEAL and Bidco United head into the final day of the 2024-2025 FKF Premier League sitting at the bottom of the log.

Bidco United occupy the last position with 32 points, two less than Murang’a SEAL, Nairobi City Stars and Posta Rangers, who sit in the positions 17, 16 and 15 respectively.
Besides the four clubs, FC Talanta, Mara Sugar and Ulinzi Stars are also not guaranteed to play in the Kenyan top league next season.

Talanta, who managed to annihilate some of the top clubs in the league this season such as Gor Mahia, have accumulated 35 points while Mara Sugar and Ulinzi Stars go to the FKF match week 34 with 35 and 36 points in that order.
Therefore, should some of the bottom teams, especially Nairobi City Stars and Murang’a SEAL pick up the maximum points on Sunday and the likes of Talanta and Posta Rangers suffer defeats, Talanta and Rangers could drop to the FKF National Super League or compete in the promotion/relegation play-off.
According to the match week 34 fixtures released by the organizers of the league, FC Talanta will lock horns with Murang’a SEAL at the SportPesa Arena while Nairobi City Stars will welcome Mathare United at the Thika Stadium.
Among the clubs fighting relegation, Bidco United will have the toughest match against a strong Sofapaka side.
However, since anything can happen in football, football fans should not rule them out of beating Sofapaka and surviving relegation from the FKF Premier League.
