Who will shine in the highly anticipated Ingo Derby? AFC Leopards and Kakamega Homeboyz are set to face off in a blockbuster encounter on Saturday evening.
The visitors Kakamega Homeboyz will be seeking to bag the maximum points and overtake their rivals in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) table.

The two sides are separated by only two points at the moment in the standings. Kakamega Homeboyz, who have played one more match than Ingwe, occupies the ninth position with 35 points while the latter sits fifth with 37 points.
Therefore, a win for Kakamega Homeboyz in the game that is scheduled to be played at the Dandora Stadium in Nairobi County will help them leapfrog AFC Leopards.

Kakamega Homeboyz tactician Francis Baraza warns Ingwe
On the other hand, Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Francis Baraza praised their opponents ahead of the upcoming match.
According to the former Harambee Stars player, they will give Ingwe the respect they deserve but do everything on the pitch to dismantle them.
“Our upcoming match against AFC Leopards is a hard game. We have already played against them this season. Our home match against them ended in a draw 1-1.
So, I have followed them in their last two matches, they play well but they struggle to score goals. I always say teams like Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards are still champions. We will give them the respect they deserve but we are not afraid of them,” explained Baraza.
The 51-year-old added that although he and his boys will head to the Dandora Stadium as underdogs, they are scared at all.

Meanwhile, Kakamega Homeboyz assistant captain Eston Omengo stated that their main aim is to collect the three points.
“We will keep it simple, go back to the basics. The AFC Leopards is a big team. We are motivated to play against them. The important thing is to get the three points. If we manage to collect all the three points, it will be very good,” he commented.
Eston ended by urging Kakamega Homeboyz supporters to continue supporting them and promising that they will give their all in the remaining matches.
