- The Kingston Grand Slam Track will start on Friday, April 4 and end on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

All eyes will be fixed at Jamaica’s National Stadium when the inaugural Grand Slam Track kicks off in Kingston later today.
The Grand Slam Track organizers have assembled strong athletes such as Canada’s Marco Arop, Great Britain’s Grant Fisher and United States’ sprinter Gabby Thomas, who will battle it out for glory in different categories.
There is also plenty of Kenyan interest in the event that is planned to end on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
Besides 800m world champion Mary Moraa, 2024 Paris Olympic Games Silver Medalist Ronald Kwemoi and American based Susan Ejore, Emmanuel Wanyonyi is also set to light up the Kingston Grand Slam Track.

Wanyonyi, who triumphed in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, will compete in the short distance category (800m and 1500m) with the likes of his arch-rival Arop and Fisher.
Similar to Wanyonyi, Moraa and Ejore will feature in the 800m and 1500m against a difficult field that is made up of the likes of Jamaica’s Natoya Goule-Toppin, and Ethiopia’s Diribe Welteji.
On the other hand, Jebet and Ekalale will target the top prize in the (3000m and 5000m) while lone ranger Kwemoi is set to compete in the men’s long distance category.

The Kingdom Grand Slam Track will be staged in Jamaica between Friday, April 4 and Sunday, April 6, 2025.
