KCB Rugby extended their reign at the summit of Kenyan rugby after officially capturing the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit title, securing a record sixth national crown.
Going into the circuit finale,the Christie 7s at the RFUEA Grounds,the Bankers held a six-point advantage over rivals Kabras Sugar.
Mathematical drama sealed the crown before the final match even kicked off when both heavyweights were stunned in the Main Cup semifinals; Strathmore Leos knocked out KCB 19-12 courtesy of a late penalty try, while Menengai Oilers saw off an injury-hit Kabras Sugar 20-10.
The joint semifinal exits officially confirmed KCB as overall champions before the final whistle was blown.
Their third place victory over Kabras took the bankers final tally to 115 points, while Kabras finished as overall runners-up with 107 points.

The Bankers enjoyed a dominant six-leg campaign under head coach Andrew Amonde, sweeping three Main Cup titles at the Prinsloo 7s, Kabeberi 7s, and Embu 7s.
Kabras Sugar picked up titles at the Dala 7s and Driftwood 7s, while Menengai Oilers wrapped up the circuit on a high by defeating Strathmore Leos 24-12 to claim the Christie 7s crown and finish third overall on 97 points.

Overall runners-up Kabras Sugar RFC amassed 107 points by capturing titles at Dala 7s (22 pts) and Driftwood 7s (22 pts), placing 2nd at Prinsloo 7s (19 pts) and Embu 7s (19 pts), finishing 4th at Christie 7s (15 pts), and taking 6th at Kabeberi 7s (10 pts).

Third-placed Menengai Oilers accumulated 97 points after capping off their season with a Main Cup triumph at Christie 7s (22 pts), supported by a runner-up spot at Dala 7s (19 pts), 3rd-place finishes at Kabeberi 7s (17 pts) and Embu 7s (17 pts), 4th place at Driftwood 7s (15 pts), and 7 points at Prinsloo 7s.
Daystar Falcons claimed 4th place overall with 80 points following a remarkably consistent campaign that yielded 17 points at Driftwood 7s, 15 points at Embu 7s, 13 points each at Prinsloo 7s and Christie 7s, 12 points at Kabeberi 7s, and 10 points at Dala 7s.
Mwamba RFC finished 5th overall with 73 points, anchored by a 3rd-place performance at Dala 7s (17 pts), 13 points at Kabeberi 7s, 10 points each at Driftwood 7s, Embu 7s, and Christie 7s, alongside 5 points at Prinsloo 7s.
Kenya Harlequin placed 6th overall with 71 points, building their total through consistent 4th-place runs at Prinsloo 7s (15 pts), Dala 7s (15 pts), and Kabeberi 7s (15 pts), combined with 12 points at Embu 7s, 8 points at Driftwood 7s, and 7 points at Christie 7s.
Strathmore Leos took 7th place overall with 65 points, relying heavily on silver-medal runs at Kabeberi 7s (19 pts) and Christie 7s (19 pts), alongside 12 points at Dala 7s, 8 points at Prinsloo 7s, 5 points at Embu 7s, and 2 points at Driftwood 7s.
Nondescripts RFC rounded out the top eight with 56 points, opening their campaign with a strong 3rd-place finish at Prinsloo 7s (17 pts), before adding 12 points at Driftwood 7s, 10 points at Embu 7s, 7 points each at Dala 7s and Kabeberi 7s, and 5 points at Christie 7s.
