- Harambee Stars striker Moses Shumah secured the Fans Player of the season and the Golden Boot at the Zambian League Awards Gala.
- The two awards come just two days after his tripple honours at club level.
- The twenty three year old has reportedly attracted interest from Moroccan giants RS Berkane.
Harambee Stars forward Moses Shumah capped off a sensational debut season in Zambian football by scooping two major accolades at the official MTN Super League 2025/2026 Awards Gala held on Friday night in Kitwe.
The 23-year-old Kenyan striker, who joined Power Dynamos from Sportpesa League side Kakamega Homeboyz at the start of the season, was heavily rewarded for a campaign that saw him completely dominate the Zambian top flight.
Shumah took home the coveted Golden Boot Award after finishing the season as the league’s undisputed top scorer, banging in an incredible 21 goals in just 26 league appearances. His ruthless efficiency in front of goal proved to be the golden ingredient that fired Power Dynamos to back-to-back league championships.

In addition to his goal-scoring prize, Shumah’s electric performances earned him the Fans’ Player of the Season Award, cementing his status as the biggest crowd favorite in the country after a fan led poll.
While Red Arrows forward Albert Kangwanda took home the overall Player of the Season award, Shumah’s Power Dynamos dominated the night’s podium.
Shumah’s individual haul on Friday night perfectly mirrors the historic hat-trick of honors he scooped just days prior at Power Dynamos’ internal club awards, where he was also named the club’s overall Footballer of the Year.

Other notable winners from the champion’s camp included midfield anchor Fredrick Mulambia, who was named the league’s Most Disciplined Player, and head coach Osward Mutapa Junior, who deservingly walked away with the Coach of the Season accolade.
Shumah’s explosive 23-goal haul across all competitions this season has predictably turned him into one of the hottest transfer properties on the continent.
With exactly one year remaining on his contract, local and international media reports indicate that Power Dynamos are bracing themselves for massive off-season bids.
Moroccan heavyweights RS Berkane have already registered concrete interest and are reportedly preparing a formal approach, while unnamed franchises in South Africa’s DSTV Premiership and Tanzania’s Ligi Kuu Bara are also heavily monitoring the Harambee Stars marksman.
