This marks a monumental milestone for regional rugby, as it is the first time a Ugandan club has reached the Enterprise Cup final in nearly five decades, prompting a massive Twende Nairobi movement led by club president James Byaruhanga and captain Isaac Massanganzira, who are looking to become the first Ugandan side in history to lift the trophy in the modern era.

The action in Nairobi will kick off early in the afternoon, with the secondary-tier Mwamba Cup final setting the tone at exactly 1 PM. That curtain-raiser will see a thrilling showdown between Juja-based university side JKUAT and coast-based Mombasa Sports Club Rugby.

In between the two heavy-hitting local finals, the collective focus at the stadium will temporarily shift to the global stage at 2:00 PM. Fans at the venue will switch their attention to a massive live screening of the HSBC SVNS World Championship Series happening in Valladolid, Spain.

Head coach Kevin Wambua’s Shujaa head into this defining European leg fighting to secure their place among rugby sevens’ elite and preserve their core status for the 2026/27 season.
