Christopher Koloti netted a spectacular brace as AFC Leopards returned to winning ways, defeating Bidco United 3-1 in a thrilling FKF Premier League Matchweek 28 encounter at Dandora Stadium on Saturday evening.
Koloti had already secured his double within the opening ten minutes, setting the tone for Ingwe’s dominant first half.
Despite Henry Onyango narrowing the deficit for Bidco, Kennedy Owino restored the two-goal cushion before halftime, ensuring Leopards ended their eight-game home winless streak and halted a seven-match barren run finally giving their faithful fans something to cheer about.

The crucial victory propels AFC Leopards to fifth place on the log with 41 points, trailing leaders Kenya Police with 11 points, who sit at the summit with 52 points.
On the other hand, Bidco United, desperate to escape the relegation playoffs, suffered their 11th defeat of the season.
The loss leaves them languishing in 16th place with just 27 points, having mustered only five wins this campaign.
AFC Leopards dominate first half
AFC Leopards stormed into the lead just 60 seconds into the match, with Koloti capitalizing on an early opportunity.
He doubled his tally just minutes later, heading in a well-delivered corner to cap a dream start for the hosts.
Ronald Sichenje squandered a golden chance to extend the lead, firing over the bar from close range.

However, Bidco clawed their way back into the game in chaotic fashion when Simon Munala pounced on a defensive mix-up, slotting home after the referee allowed advantage despite protests from Ingwe’s players.
Ovella Ochieng nearly restored the hosts’ two-goal cushion with a swift counterattack, but his attempted cross was intercepted.
From the resulting corner, Kennedy Owino unleashed a clinical finish after Kayci Odhiambo’s initial effort was deflected.
Bidco came close to reducing the deficit again when Henry Onyango broke through on the right, only for Lewis Bandi to make a crucial goal-line clearance.
The visitors appealed for a penalty, claiming handball, but the referee waved play on.
Levis Opiyo then proved his worth with a vital save just before halftime, tipping a fierce strike over the bar to ensure Ingwe entered the break with a commanding 3-1 lead.

The second half saw a dip in tempo, with Leopards focused on game management while Bidco pressed in search of a lifeline.
Despite making three substitutions in the 75th minute to inject energy, Bidco’s efforts were subdued by Ingwe’s disciplined defending and strategic time management.
Ingwe also introduced fresh legs to stabilize the match and held firm until the final whistle, securing all three points and adding to Bidco’s growing relegation concerns.
Nairobi City Stars vs Shabana
Meanwhile, at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Nairobi City Stars’ survival hopes suffered another setback after falling 0-2 to Shabana FC.
Goals from Keith Imbali and Darius Msagha lifted Shabana closer to the top of the table just six points shy of leaders Police FC, while their unbeaten streak extended to eight league matches.
City Stars remain rooted at the bottom with 24 points and winless in their last five outings. However, with six matches left, their fight for survival is not yet over.
