The Sugarmen also accomplished a remarkable double triumph, clinching both the Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup for the fourth straight year (2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025), with three of those campaigns remaining unbeaten.

Meanwhile, the Oilers were chasing their maiden title in the competition and a breakthrough in Kenya’s 15s rugby scene.

However, they once again fell short against Kabras, who completed a double over them this season, having also defeated the Oilers in the Kenya Cup final.

Kabras dominate Enterprise Cup match

In their pursuit of a fifth title, Kabras struck first with three points courtesy of Ntabeni Dukisa, who slotted in a penalty after missing an earlier attempt, giving his side a 0-3 lead.

Carlos Katywa’s game plan was disrupted early when Jeanson Misoga suffered a leg injury, prompting an early substitution that saw Collins Indeche take his place.

Moments before halftime, Walter Okoth crossed the try line following a dazzling offload from Hillary Odhiambo. Dukisa added the conversion to stretch the lead to 0-10.

Alfred Orege then widened the gap with a try in the corner, though the conversion attempt missed, sending Kabras into the break with a 0-15 advantage.

The second half saw Kabras maintain their composure and discipline. Dukisa capitalized on a penalty opportunity to extend their lead to 0-18.

The Oilers responded immediately after the restart, with Beldad Ogeta powering over the line and Timothy Omela adding the extras to bring the score to 7-18.

But just as they appeared to be staging a comeback, Kabras hit back. Gabriel Odera dotted down after a clever pass from Eugene Sifuna, increasing their lead to 7-25.

Griffin Chao added another try for Kabras, although the conversion was off-target, pushing the score to 30-7.

The Oilers managed a consolation try through Samuel Ovwamu, which went unconverted, narrowing the margin to 12-30.

Dukisa then put the result beyond doubt, nailing a final penalty to close the game at 12-33, capping yet another unbeaten campaign as Kabras were crowned champions once again.
