AFC Leopards’ new signing, Fredrick Alushula, is eager to win multiple trophies with the club following his transfer, which was finalized on a two-year deal from Kariobangi Sharks.
The 21-year-old, who plays as a right full-back, will wear jersey number three for Ingwe, as he becomes the second player to join the 12-time top-flight champions during ths mid-season transfer window.
Alushula joins AFC Leopards after spending four years at Sharks, where he scored three goals and provided ten assists.
He is determined to help the club secure the Premier League title, which they last won nearly two decades ago. He admires the team’s style of play.
“I’m happy to join AFC Leopard, and I am looking forward to winning trophies with the club. I like the team’s style of play. There’s a lot of quality in the team,” Alushula told the club’s media during his unveiling on Tuesday morning.

He praised the team’s current form, expressing confidence that they can still clinch the Football Kenya Federation Premier League 24/25 title.
“The team has the potential of lifting the FKF-PL this season, looking at the league table. There’s also a lot of competition among my new team mates , which will make me improve as a player,” he explained.
Alushula is confident that if he follows the instructions from the technical team and performs as required, he will deliver without feeling overwhelmed.
“If you do the right thing as a player, they’ll be very little pressure. I strive to work hard and play well according to the technical bench’s instructions, which will help me manage pressure from the fans,” he reiterated.

In an effort to strengthen their defense as they pursue the title, Leopards have also signed Ugandan goalkeeper James Ssetuba from Kakamega Homeboyz on a two-year contract.
Ssetuba joins Levis Opiyo, the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, and will wear shirt number 28.
“James Ssetuba joins the competitive department of goalkeepers of Levis Opiyo, Humphrey Katasi and Abubakar Musha .He will wear shirt number 28 and has already linked up with the rest of his teammates at our training base,” read a statement from the club.
