The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League will be in action on Wednesday, January 15, with two rescheduled matches scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
The headline match of the day will see Tusker FC host Bandari FC in the evening at 4:00 PM EAT.
The Brewers will be seeking redemption following their 2-1 loss to Shabana FC over the weekend at the Gusii satdium.
Additionally, they will be vying for the top spot in the league. Currently in second place with 27 points, level with KCB, however, Bankers are ahead on goal difference.
A win against Bandari will propel them to the top of the standings.
Despite their recent setback, Charles Okere’s side has been in excellent form this season, having won eight matches, drawn three, and suffered four defeats from 15 games.
They are determined to claim the top-flight title for the 13th time in their history.

On the other hand, Bandari, who have lost just two matches this season, will aim to start the new year on a high note after a 2-0 defeat to AFC Leopards in their final match of 2024.
Currently in seventh place, Ken Odhiambo’s charges were previously dominating the top four spots and will be looking to bounce back from a run of four winless matches.
With 22 points from 14 matches, Odhiambo is confident that his players are now fully fit after the December break, which allowed them to recover from injuries.
“We know the match against Tusker won’t be easy, but we’ve prepared well,” said Odhiambo to Citizen Digital. “Every player must be brave and sharp. With God’s help, we hope to get a win,” he added.
“Injured players like Onjunga are back in the squad after the break, except for Edward Satulo, Robert Onyango, and Captain Andrew Juma, who are all dealing with long-term injuries. But I’m confident we’ll soon have a full squad,” Odhiambo remarked.

Posta Rangers will be buoyed by their decisive 2-1 win over Nairobi City Stars last weekend at Dandora Stadium.
Additionally, the team has appointed a new head coach, Sammy Omollo “Pamzo,” who joins the technical bench to guide the team out of the relegation zone.

Posta Rangers will be up against Etienne Ndayiragije’s side, who are unbeaten in their last six matches and currently sit in fourth place with 24 points from 14 games.
The Law Enforcerrs will look to continue their good form after a 1-1 draw against Kakamega Homeboyz in their last outing.
