- The pools for the 2026 Christie 7s Division One finals have been finalized.
- This will mark the final leg of the 2026 SportPesa 7s, set for September 12-13 at the RFUEA Grounds.
- KCB will headline Pool A as the overall leaders, while current runners-up Kabras Sugar will headline Pool B.
The final pools for the 2026 Christies 7s have been confirmed for the two-day showdown slated for September 12 and 13 at the RFUEA Grounds.
This 60th edition of the Christie 7s will mark the final and sixth leg of the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit, following five thrilling legs staged across five counties in the country.
It all started with the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru in late July, where overall champions KCB Rugby kicked off their title defence on a high note by claiming the silverware.

The SportPesa 7s then followed up with the second leg, heading all the way to Nyanza for the Dala 7s in Kisumu in the early weekend of August, which was reclaimed by Kabras Sugar.
The tournament then took a two-week break before returning with the Kabeberi 7s in Nairobi in mid-August, which was won by KCB.
Another two-week break followed after Kabras had travelled to Mombasa to clinch the Driftwood 7s.
Last weekend, the SportPesa 7s returned for the penultimate legg, where KCB came out on top after beating Kabras in the Cup final.
The victory also saw them extend their overall lead to six points.

Kabras, KCB could clash as early as quarter-finals
The Bankers will now head into this final leg in Nairobi at the top of the table with 98 points, compared to Kabras’ 92, with their rivals breathing down their necks as they look to snatch the overall title.
At Christie, KCB will have to go all out for themselves to ensure they finish on the podium, should Kabras also manage to secure a top-three finish.
They will first have to navigate past hosts Kenya Harlequins, Masinde Muliro University Rugby and invitational side Club Afrique, who have all been placed in Pool A, with Club Afrique being their only unfamiliar opponent.
Kabras, on the other hand, will headline Pool B, where they will have to go through Kenyatta University Blak Blad, red-hot NYS Spades and newly promoted Mean Machine, who are making their first 2026 SportPesa 7s Division One appearance.
With KCB and Kabras, the two rivals, placed in Pools A and B, respectively, either side finishing second while the other tops their pool could see them paired as early as the Main Cup quarter-finals.
That would force one of the two title contenders to eliminate the other, potentially deciding the overall title race as early as that stage.
Menengai Oilers, who have been perfect this season but are yet to win any of the legs, will headline Pool C as they hope to finally get something for their efforts. They will face Nondies, Strathmore Leos and Kisumu RFC.
Pool D will see Daystar Falcons face off against Mwamba RFC, Embu RFC and Impala RFC.
