English Premier League leaders Arsenal prepare for a mega clash against Manchester United looking to maintain their respectable lead.
Mikel Arteta’s side maintain a healthy seven-point lead at the top of the table, ahead of closest challengers Manchester City.
They will welcome United to the Emirates on Sunday, seeking to complete a league double over their rivals. Arsenal beat United 1-0 in the reverse fixture last August.
The Gunners are currently on a 12-match unbeaten streak, with a seven-point lead atop the standings. They are also fresh off a commanding 3-1 away victory against Inter Milan.
Their record at the Emirates is even more intimidating, unbeaten in their last 17 matches in front of their home fans. They are closer to a first title in 22 years than they have been in a while.

United looked a different side under the tutelage of Michael Carrick as they cruised to a 2-0 victory over Man City. Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu both scored and will both start this weekend.
The victory saw them leapfrog Chelsea into fifth place with 35 points. Though unbeaten in their last five games, United have only managed one win in that run.
Man United have not beaten Arsenal in the league since 2022 and are not likely to get all three points here. The home team are favorites to win and further cement their intent to win the title.
Our team has a look at all key stats ahead of the blockbuster fixture as we offer our predicted outcome as well.

Arsenal vs Man United team news
The Gunners have a fully fit squad for the first time this season. Arteta is expected to name his strongest XI for the match.
Gabriel Jesus has been in good form since his return from injury and with rumors of a Viktor Gyokeres exit, the Brazilian is tipped to start.

Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka are the obvious selections in the wide attacking areas. Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Martin Zubimendi will all retain their starting roles in midfield. The back line will remain the same.
The visitors are unlikely to make any changes to the side that beat Man City, meaning Kobbie Mainoo will get yet another start.
Dorgu and Mbeumo, both scorers against City, will start as well. Africa Cup of Nations runner-up Noussair Mazraoui is back but will not start.

Arsenal vs Man United head-to-head and current form
The 2-0 win against City snapped a four-match winless run for United, giving them plenty of confidence to bring into this game.
However, they face an Arsenal side who have not lost in their last 12 games and look intentional on winning a first PL title in 22 years. United have only beaten Arsenal once in their last five attempts.
Arsenal have been superior over their rivals in recent years and are primed to extend their 17-game unbeaten run at home.

Arsenal vs Man United prediction
The Gunners have consistently shown they are capable of scoring goals, banging 10 in their last five home games. They are expected to score here as well.
In that same breath, United have scored at least one goal in their last nine away matches. We can be guaranteed of over 1.5 goals in this game, with both teams scoring also proving to be a worthy option.
With Arsenal’s remarkable home form, they will avoid defeat here and our predicted outcome is an Arsenal win or draw (1X) market.
