Boxing fans are in for a massive treat on Saturday, November 29, as the Ultra Fight Series, powered by leading online gaming firm SportPesa, will present eight high-profile fights at The Edge Convention Center in South C, Nairobi, Kenya.

The bouts, marking the fifth edition of UFS BXNG, will be headlined by a clash for the Women’s Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania (PST) Super Bantamweight title, where Kenya’s Consolata Musangi will lock horns with Sweden’s Sandra Attermo.

The 38-year-old Musangi aims to leverage her vast experience and establish dominance entering this match, with a record of 13 wins, four draws, and eight losses since 2023.

She is determined to reclaim the title that slipped from her grasp in 2023, when she lost to Tanzania’s Fatuma Yazidu after eight hard-fought rounds. Musangi had originally won the belt in 2022.

She also comes into this match brimming with confidence, fresh from a victory over Rachael Musubika this past August in Nairobi, a featherweight contest she won in six rounds. This win marked her third match of the year having lost the other two encounters.

She faces a formidable opponent in Sandra Attermo, who enters the ring looking to improve her record.

In her six previous bouts, she boasts two wins (one by knockout) and four losses, none by knockout.

The 39-year-old Attermo also arrives with momentum from a prior victory, having defeated Uganda’s Phiona Naigaga in a six-round Bantamweight contest staged in Uganda this September.

While the two women headline the card, the men’s side features several compelling bouts.

The most anticipated is between Kenya’s Richard Okoth, who holds a record of four wins and four losses, and Uganda’s Bruno Muweezi, who will face off in a Welterweight championship encounter.

Meanwhile, another match to watch will see two Kenyans, Kevin Gachee and Wycliffe Andabu, slug it out in the men’s middleweight category.

The 33-year-old Gachee will be making his professional boxing debut while also campaigning to support the Men’s Mental Health “Movember” cause as the month draws to a close.
