Boxing fans in Kenya and across Africa are in for a real treat tonight, Friday, October 10, when Lucien “Bam Bam” Botumbe of DR Congo squares off against Uganda’s Kenneth Lukyamuzi in a 10-round battle for the East and Central Africa Middleweight Title at the Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi.

Hard-hitting Lukyamuzi, a former Ugandan police officer, enters the ring with a record of 16 fights, 7 wins (2 by knockout), 8 losses (1 by KO), and 1 draw.

He brings momentum into the ring after securing two impressive victories in Uganda over the past two years.

His opponent, Botumbe, boasts a formidable track record of 13 fights having 12 wins (10 by knockout) and just 1 loss (also by KO).
