AFC Leopards will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they travel on Sunday afternoon to face relegation-threatened Kariobangi Sharks at the Moi International Sports Center, with kickoff at 3:00 PM EAT.
The 12-time SportPesa league champions have dropped four points in their last two outings, beginning with a 2–0 defeat to Mara Sugar- their first loss of the season, before being held to a goalless draw by Murang’a SEAL last weekend.
Ingwe have also struggled on the road this campaign. In the three matches they have played away from home, they have managed only four points – a 1–2 victory at Gusii Stadium against Shabana and a 2–2 draw with Posta Rangers.

This will be AFC Leopards’ ninth match of the season, and they will treat it as a crucial test ahead of the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby, where they will visit Gor Mahia for the first leg on November 30.
As Fred Ambani’s side chase three points that could potentially lift them to second place especially if other results go their way, Kariobangi Sharks’ season has been far from impressive.
They currently sit 17th on the table, just one spot above bottom-placed APS Bomet, with only six points.
The Sharks will be chasing just their second win of the season, having so far recorded one victory, three draws, and four losses from their eight matches.

The team has struggled with inexperience in the final third, scoring only six goals while conceding 10, despite maintaining their usual slick style of play.
With head coach William Muluya on international duty with the Kenya U17 team at the CECAFA AFCON U17 Qualifiers, assistant coach Edward Seda will take charge, aiming for three crucial points to climb out of the relegation zone.
Kariobangi Sharks vs AFC Leopards Betting tips
Kariobangi Sharks are yet to beat AFC Leopards in their last six league meetings, with Ingwe winning twice and the other four ending in draws.
The last time the Slum Boys defeated Ingwe was in 2022, with a 3–1 victory.
Four of the recent six encounters between these sides have seen under 2.5 goals, highlighting tightly contested matches.

Sharks have managed only one goal in those six games, compared to four by Ingwe.
Given the low-scoring history and Leopards’ own struggles in attack, managing just nine goals this season, this match is expected to be another closely fought affair.
Meanwhile, second-placed Kakamega Homeboyz – currently on a three-match winless run, will aim to return to winning ways and narrow the gap with leaders Gor Mahia when they host Posta Rangers at Bukhungu Stadium from 2:00 PM.
