Gor Mahia have received a huge boost ahead of their SportPesa League clash against Mathare United, with Ghanaian winger Ebenezer Adukwaw returning to training after a short spell on the sidelines.
The Ghanaian international has been one of the standout performers for the record league champions this season, winning over the fans with his pace, direct play and eye for goal.
Since joining the club, Adukwaw has scored twice and provided one assist in the SportPesa League, playing a key role in Gor Mahia’s bright start to the campaign.

His impressive run was interrupted during the ODM@20 Tournament in Mombasa, where he picked up a shoulder injury during the final against Bandari FC.
Despite the set back Adu-kwaw still managed to make his mark by scoring the winning goal through a free kick securing the title for K’Ogalo before being substituted minutes later.
The injury saw him miss Gor Mahia’s 3-0 victory over Posta Rangers on Sunday at Nyayo Stadium, but the Ghanaian has now confirmed he is on the mend.
Ebenezer Adukwaw returns to training
“I am okay now. I will be back probably next weekend,” he said after the match.
True to his word, Adukwaw trained fully with the rest of the squad at Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday, signaling his readiness to return to action.

His comeback is expected to offer head coach Charles Akonnor more attacking options as Gor Mahia look to extend their good run as they chase the top spot.
The record champions are scheduled to face Mathare United on Thursday at the Kasarani Stadium from 4PM and Adu-kwaw’s availability will be a welcome addition for the technical bench.
With his confidence high and fitness improving, Adu-kwaw will be keen to pick up where he left off and continue delivering for the Green Army as they push to reclaim the SportPesa League crown.
