Kenya Harlequin and Nakuru RFC bulldozed their way into the Prinsloo 7s 2025 5th place final on Sunday afternoon.
Quins secured a 19-7 semi-final victory over Mwamba RFC in a one-sided match that was played in Nakuru.
They started the game excellently, scoring two quick tries at the start of the first half which were converted to give them a healthy 14-0 lead over their opponents.

A perfect first half for Kenya Harlequin in the Prinsloo 7s 2025 5th place semi-final
Kenya Harlequin ensured they end the first half on a high when they scored another try to extend their lead to 19-0.
Mwamba RFC, tried everything they could to penetrate the solid Quins team at the stand of the second half but luck was not on their side.
However, with about four minutes remaining to the close of the match, Mwamba managed to net a try to bring the scores to 19-7.
Nonetheless, Kenya Harlequin went on to protect their lead and book a ticket to the Prinsloo 2025 5th place final.
Nakuru RFC squeeze past Kabras to secure Prinsloo 7s 2025 5th place final slot
Meanwhile, Nakuru RFC hammered Kabras 12-10 in another epic Prinsloo 7s 2025 5th place semi-final to qualify for the last round of the tournament.
Nakuru RFC took the lead in the closing stages of the first half to give themselves a narrow 7-0 lead over the Western Kenya based side.
The situation got better for the home side when they needed another try shortly before the break to increase their lead to 12-0.
Despite good organization from the Nakuru RFC players, Kabras scored two back to back tries through substitute Roy Maruti and Siketi to make the score board read 12-10.
Nevertheless, they did not have enough time to engineer a comeback, ensuring the Nakuru RFC bag the ticket to Prinsloo 7s 2025 5th place final where they will square it out with Kenya Harlequins.
