Tusker FC’s latest signing, the returning talismanic forward Eric Kapaito, is determined to help the club reclaim domestic glory after penning a one-year deal.

The two-time FKF Premier League Golden Boot winner rejoins the Brewers following a stint in Tanzania, bringing not only vast experience but also the clinical finishing that once made him a fan favorite before his departure last season.

Kapaito departed the club at the close of the 2023–24 campaign, having netted 12 goals and playing a pivotal role in the team’s strong domestic performance.

The prolific striker’s return is a major lift for the Ruaraka-based side as they intensify efforts to strengthen their squad.

Kapaito becomes the fourth acquisition in an ambitious rebuild aimed at bouncing back from last season’s heartbreak, where the title slipped away in the final moments of the campaign.

Speaking during his unveiling at Ruaraka Grounds, Kapaito shared his enthusiasm and pledged to contribute to the club’s silverware ambitions.

Tusker FC is home and I feel that I have returned to a place where I felt comfortable, happy and loved. I have a deep connection with this club and the fans, and I’m hungry to help bring more trophies to this great team. I’m back, focused, and ready to give my all,” Kapaito said.

Head coach Charles Okere welcomed Kapaito’s return, describing it as a vital addition to the squad.

“Eric brings a lot to this team goals, leadership, and a winning mentality. He knows our system, and his experience will be vital both on and off the pitch. Last season we struggled a bit in the second leg because we didn’t have enough firepower upfront and his return gives us that cushion,” Okere said.
