Tusker FC’s latest midfield recruit, Vincent Otieno, has expressed his determination to lead the club to silverware and contribute significantly to their long-term objectives.
Otieno becomes the Brewers’ first major signing ahead of the new season following his departure from relegated Nairobi City Stars.
Despite City Stars’ drop from the top tier, the 25-year-old enjoyed a standout campaign, emerging as one of the league’s most consistent and dynamic midfielders.
He has now inked a two-year deal with the Ruaraka-based giants.

Tusker narrowly missed out on their 13th top-flight title last season, falling short in the closing stages as Kenya Police clinched the championship.
The Brewers ultimately finished fourth with 57 points, prompting a renewed focus on strengthening their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.

Captain Charles Momanyi renews contract with Tusker
In related news, club captain Charles Momanyi has extended his stay at Tusker FC, signing a new deal that will keep him at the club for another season.
“It’s a great honour for me to continue this journey with Tusker FC. This club has become home, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together so far. I’m even more excited about what lies ahead. I want to thank the management, my teammates, and the fans for their unwavering support.
Last season was not entirely how we envisioned but as a leader, we want to make sure we do better next season,” Momanyi said.
