On the other hand, Kenya Pipeline secured a well-deserved 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 26-24) victory over the DCI.
Speaking ahead of the final, Kenya Pipeline head coach Geoffrey Omondi stated that their objective is to leave the Kasarani Indoor Arena on Sunday as champions.
“Congratulations to the Kenya Pipeline players. We are heading to the final and when we reach there, we will plan for it.
KCB have revamped their team. They are playing well. We are also planning well, and we hope we are going to lift the trophy. That is our main goal,” he explained.
Meanwhile, his counterpart Munala, who has previously coached the Malkia Strikers, expressed optimism on his team succeeding on Sunday.
“KCB is now becoming stronger. Based on this match, I think we are a better team right now. So, nothing to worry about.
Last time we finished number three, but now we have gone a step ahead. We are in the final,” commented Munala.

The experienced tactician added that the inclusion of Esther Mutinda to the squad has improved the team’s performance.
Besides the Kenya Pipeline vs KCB Women clash, their men’s Kenya Cup will also take place on Sunday at the same venue.
KDF, who defeated KPA 3-2 in the first semi-final, will play the winner between Kenya Prisons and GSU in the Kenya Cup decider.
According to the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF), the winners of the Kenya Cup in both the men’s and women’s categories will each receive an award of Ksh 300,000 while the clubs that finish in the second and third positions will bag Ksh 200,000 and Ksh 100,00 in that order.
