- FKF Premier League title contenders Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC will be in action on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
- The league leaders Kenya Police FC will play FC Talanta in Machakos while Tusker travel to Dandora Stadium to lock horns with giant slayers Sofapaka FC.
- Both the Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC fixtures are scheduled to kick off at 4 pm EAT.
The stakes are very high especially for Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC as the Football Kenya Federation Premier League nears the penultimate stage.
With just three games remaining to the end of the 24-25 season, Kenya Police and Tusker FC, who will play FC Talanta and Sofapaka FC in that order this Sunday, have no more room for blunder because three points in every match are very crucial.
The unexpected defeats that the two sides suffered in their latest matches has thrown the competitive title race wide open.
At the moment, about five clubs including Shabana FC and the defending champions Gor Mahia FC have a chance of lifting the trophy.

However, Tusker and the Law Enforcers are the favorites as they have opened a considerable gap between themselves and the rest of the contenders.
Kenya Police FC, who were beaten 2-1 by a determined Kakamega Homeboyz in their most recent match, sits at the top of the standings with 58 points, three more than Tusker FC.
The two clubs are closely followed by SportPesa sponsored sides Gor Mahia and Shabana, who have gathered 53 and 52 points respectively since the start of the season.
However, Gor Mahia still have a game in hand which slightly puts them at a better place of overtaking Tusker and Kenya Police FC.
Tusker face litmus test against Sofapaka as Kenya Police FC host giant slayers FC Talanta
The latter will be hoping to silence Talanta in what is expected to be a very difficult match for them based on the excellent form that their opponents are enjoying.

FC Talanta, who hammered Tusker 2-0 on Wednesday, have beaten several big clubs in recent weeks including AFC Leopards and KCB FC.
Therefore, they have what it takes to cage Kenya Police FC and dash their hopes of winning the title at the end of the season.
The Kenya Police FC versus FC Talanta clash is planned to take place at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County from 4 pm East African Time (EAT).

As for Tusker, they make a short trip to the Dandora Stadium to play Sofapaka FC, who will be seeking to rectify the mistakes they made last weekend in their 2-0 defeat to Murang’a Seal.

The Brewers are likely to welcome their prolific striker Ryan Ogam from injury as well as a couple of other influential players.
Tusker FC captain Charles Momanyi optimistic ahead of Sofapaka clash
Speaking ahead of the match, Tusker FC captain Charles Momanyi has stated that their goal is to secure the maximum points.
“We hope to get a positive result. We have sat down after last weekend’s defeat and each one has agreed to give 100 percent.
We have remained with three games to the end of the season, which to us are all finals. The first one is tomorrow, and that is Sofapaka. Yes, we respect them but we also know what we want,” he explained.
Momanyi ended by admitting that the game against Sofapaka will not be easy for them since their opponents are also well prepared.
Finally, a win for both Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC will make the upcoming matches in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League more pivotal in determining the 24-25 champion.
