The Kenya national rugby 7s team, Shujaa, has learned their opponents for the Singapore 7s set for April 5-6 at the Singapore National Stadium marking the final outing of the regular HSBC SVNS Series 2025.
Kenya has been placed in Pool B, where they will face France, whom they recently met in the Hong Kong 7s, as well as Ireland.
Argentina, who are theb ack-to-back champions from Perth, Vancouver and Hong Kong have been seeded in Pool A where they will compete against Great Britain and South Africa.
Meanwhile, Pool C will feature Australia, Spain and Uruguay, while Fiji, New Zealand and the USA will battle it out in Pool D.

Kenya 7s finish tenth in Hong Kong
Despite their resilience in Hong Kong, the Kevin Wambua-coached side finished 10th with three points, which means they will now compete in the relegation playoffs scheduled for Los Angeles on May 3-4.
Shujaa started their campaign on a high note, defeating Spain 19-0 in their opening group match.
However, they were narrowly edged by Great Britain 12-7 and later fell to France 14-7 in the final pool match, placing them last in their pool.
As a result, they entered the ninth-place semifinal playoffs, where they triumphed over the USA, securing a spot in the ninth-place final.
Unfortunately, they fell short against South Africa, losing 19-17 and finishing in tenth place.
After five rounds of the series, Shujaa have accumulated 18 points, leaving them in ninth place on the standings.
However, their journey continues in the relegation playoffs, as the cut-off for survival is the eighth place, which is currently held by Great Britain with 38 points—20 more than Kenya.
