Gor Mahia dismantle KSG Ogopa
Gor Mahia FC avoided last season’s early exit thanks to a commanding 3-0 win over the Kenya School of Government (KSG) Ogopa in a clash that was staged at the Dandora Stadium.
The reigning Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) champions scored their goals via Bonface Omondi, Samuel Onyango and Austine Odhiambo.
Onyango broke the deadlock in the first half before Odhiambo, who was making a return from an injury, assisted Omondi for the second goal.
Odhiambo then got his name in the score sheet later to make it 3-0 for the Sinisa Mihic-coached side.

AFC Leopards demolish Dero in Siaya
Meanwhile, AFC Leopards secured a 3-1 victory over Dero, a little-known club that plays in the Nyanza Regional League.
Ingwe, who did not start most of their stars, found the back of the net through the experienced Cliffton Miheso, Ronald Sichenje and Sydney Lokale.
Murang’a Seal squeeze past Gituru in a thrilling clash
Murang’a Seal came from behind to beat Gituru FC on penalties in an epic match that was played at the Gituru Community Grounds.
Gituru FC went to the half time break with a slim 1-0 lead before making it 2-0 in the 74th minute. The goal shocked Murang’a Seal players but they managed to hold their nerves and scored two late goals to make the game to be determined on penalties.
The John Njogu-coached side scored four of their penalties to beat Gituru 4-1 and clinched the ticket to the FKF Cup round of 32.
Elsewhere, the Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) picked up a 4-0 win over Shalima in a one sided clash while Ishiara FC edged past Mombasa Stars with a 3-1 victory.

The next round of the tournament is scheduled to be played between March 8 and March 9 in various venues across the nation.
