Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia maintained their winning start in the 24/25 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season following a commanding 3-0 triumph over Posta Rangers in their second league fixture played on Saturday (19) at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
Bryson Wangai opened the scoring with a powerful strike from outside the box in the 14th minute, setting the tone for the match.
The team continued to press for a second goal and their efforts paid off in the 37th minute when Austin Odhiambo, the 23/24 Most Valuable Player, replicated Wangai’s feat with another stunning long-range effort as he doubled K’Ogalo’s lead before halftime.

In the second half, the Leonardo Neiva-coached side remained relentless, with Wangai delivering a promising cross to Odhiambo in the 52nd minute but the latter’s shot went wide.
Wangai himself came close to scoring a brace four minutes later only to see his shot sail over the bar.
Neiva made two tactical changes just before the hour mark, substituting Chris Ochieng and Boniface Omondi for Sammy Onyango and Gedeon Bendeka.
Neiva continued to shuffle his lineup, bringing on Paul Ochuoga and Musa Masika for the goal-scorers Odhiambo and Wangai in the 78th minute.

They will now face off against league leaders KCB on Wednesday.
