If at all you thought that the glitzy launch of Gor Mahia’s new official Umbro kits for the 2022/23 KPL season was it, the alternate kit is finally here.
Straying away from their prominent green and white colors, the official third kit for the record league winners is a breath of fresh air.
The jersey is special because it was specifically made and designed particularly for the club and has an amazing 3D club badge imprinted on the top left corner of the shirt.
The dominant color is a refreshing shade of Azure blue with the bottom half imprinted with tropical scene patterns, with shades of their distinguished green.
The kit comes with a matching pair of shorts to go with it as well as an azure blue pair of socks to complete their new look.
The goalkeeper’s jersey is also a breathtaking shade of salmon pink with a yellow pattern spread across the upper torso.
Just like their home and away kits, this one is also branded with their sponsor SportPesa, printed across the chest area.
This comes months after Gor signed a three-year deal that saw them reunite with SportPesa as their main shirt sponsor in a deal that is worth KSHs 80 million a season.
Following the return of this titanic partnership, SportPesa held a remarkable event to launch their home and away kits for the KPL season.
Gor are currently sitting in second place on the Kenya Premier League standings with 27 points, one behind league leaders Nzoia.
They have the chance to shoot to the top of the standings if they can grind out a win against rivals Tusker FC on Wednesday at the Kasarani Stadium.
