The important editorial point is to use the current 2026/27 squad rather than older Gasperini-era player assumptions. Confirmed line-ups should still be checked close to kick-off.

Giovanni Stroppa named a 28-player squad for the trip to Bergamo. The attacking group includes Akor Adams, Albion Rrahmani, John Yeboah, Antonio Fernandez and Lion Lauberbach.

Toma Basic, Kike Perez and Simon Sohm are among the midfield options as Venezia look for a more stable performance after five straight league defeats.

Confirmed line-ups, live scores and match events can be followed on SP Score once the teams are released.

Atalanta began the league season with wins over Sassuolo and Bologna before losing three consecutive matches against Roma, Cagliari and Juventus. They enter Matchday 6 on six points.

Venezia have had a much harder start after promotion. They have lost all five opening Serie A matches, scoring four goals and conceding 13.

Atalanta hold the stronger recent head-to-head record and are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Venezia in all competitions, with four wins and one draw.

Atalanta’s current attacking options are built around players such as Scamacca, De Ketelaere, Raspadori, Samardzic and Pasalic. Their challenge is turning that attacking depth into a response after three consecutive league defeats.

Venezia’s task is to use their improved squad availability to reduce the pressure on their defence and create more sustained possession. Adams, Rrahmani and Yeboah give Stroppa several options in the final third.
