The stage is set at the RFUEA Grounds as the historic 60th edition of the Christie Sevens kicks off, marking the final leg of the 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit.

Giants KCB Rugby, Kabras Sugar RFC, Menengai Oilers, and hosts Kenya Harlequin headline Day One’s Division One action, with overall circuit honors hanging in the balance.

Hosts Kenya Harlequin kick off the men’s campaign in Pool A at 08:40 AM against Pan-African invitational outfit Club Afrique, before circuit leaders KCB Rugby take on MMUST Rugby at 09:00 AM. KCB enter the weekend holding a narrow six-point lead at the top of the standings with 98 points over rivals Kabras Sugar on 92.

Kabras Sugar lead Pool B, where they face Kenyatta University’s BlakBlad, NYS Spades, and newly promoted Division Two champions Mean Machine. The Sugarmen open their account at 09:40 AM against NYS Spades as they push for a flawless group stage to pressure KCB in the standings.
