With only two points separating the top two teams in the SportPesa League, there is plenty of action to look forward to in round 28 this weekend.
Record league winners Gor Mahia maintain their lead at the top of the table with 57 points, two more than their eternal rivals AFC Leopards, who are chasing a first league title in 28 years.
Gor are coming off a 1-0 loss to Tusker and are now without a win in their last two outings. Leopards on the other hand are seeking a fifth consecutive win as the most in form team in the league.
Sofapaka remain rooted to the bottom of the log with 16 points after 27 games, and need a miracle if they are to avoid relegation to the National Super League next season. APS Bomet, Bidco United and Ulinzi Stars are also fighting to stay in the Kenyan top flight with seven games to go.
With Gor chasing a record 23rd league title and Leopards looking to break their duck, we can expect fireworks in this business end of the season. We have a look at the top games and offer our predicted outcome.

Gor Mahia vs Bandari – Sunday, 4:15PM
Gor’s 16-game unbeaten streak was halted last week in a 1-0 defeat to Tusker, leaving them two points ahead of Leopards on the log.
They face a Bandari side who are unbeaten in their last five games – coming off a 2-0 Cup win against 3K FC. The dockers are in 10th place with 38 points, with a win here potentially lifting them into the top six.
Bandari have not beaten Gor in the league since a 2-1 home win in 2024, with the reverse fixture this season resulting in a 1-1 draw.
This fixture does not produce many goals and this is not expected to be any different. However, a slim home win provides a great betting option.
