All focus switches to round 33 in the 2025/26 English Premier League season as Arsenal seek to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
The Gunners come into the weekend with a six-point advantage atop the Premier League table, hoping to break their 22-year duck and lift the elusive title.
Their closest challengers Manchester City are in second place with 64 points, albeit with a game in hand. Man United round up the top three with 55 points.
The relegation battle is also intense with five games left in the season. Already relegated Wolves remain rooted to the bottom with 17 points, three less than Burnley who are fighting to stay alive.
Tottenham Hotspur’s pathetic season got even worse as they occupy the final relegation spot with 30 points, two away from safety.

Here we have a look at the top games lined up this weekend and offer our predicted outcome.
Brentford vs Fulham – Saturday, 2:30PM
Brentford are without a win in their last five matches, fresh off three consecutive draws. This run of form leaves them in seventh place with 47 points, one away from a European spot next season.
They face a Fulham side who are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool, leaving them in 12th with 44 points. They have however lost three games in their last five, failing to score in their last two away games.
Fulham beat Brentford 3-1 in the reverse fixture last September at Craven Cottage. This means Fulham have won their last three matches against the Bees.

Tottenham vs Brighton – Saturday, 7:30PM
It’s all gone terribly wrong at Spurs as they stare relegation in the eyes. Roberto De Zerbi will take charge of his first home game as new coach against his former employers Brighton.

Tottenham have managed just one win in their last 11 games in all competitions. A 1-0 defeat to Sunderland last weekend, leaves them with 30 points after 32 games.
They take on a Brighton side who are looking for a fourth consecutive win, which could see them finish the day in the top six. The Seagulls have also not lost to Tottenham since a 2-1 loss in 2024.
Brighton beat Spurs 4-1 last season and the reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 stalemate. With their recent run of form, the visiting team are favorites to avoid defeat here.

Everton vs Liverpool – Sunday, 4PM
The Merseyside derby is all set for Sunday at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Everton coming into the game as favorites.

The Toffees have lost just once in their last five games and have won back-to-back home games for the first time this season. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s 91st minute goal rescued a point for Everton in a 2-2 draw against Brentford last weekend.
Liverpool have lost four of their last five matches, scoring just three times in the process. Their most recent outing was a 2-0 defeat to PSG, knocking them out of the Champions League.
From the last five head-to-head matches between these sides, Liverpool have the edge – winning three times and losing just once. We can at least expect goals from both teams here.

Manchester City vs Arsenal – Sunday, 6:30PM
Arguably the biggest game of the season is on the cards this Sunday as Pep Guardiola’s City host Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. The Premier League title has the potential to be decided at least partly from this highly anticipated encounter.
Arsenal are six points clear of City as the title chase heats up in the business end of the season. However, City have a game in hand and will hunt down their rivals until the very end.

City beat Chelsea 3-0 away from home last weekend to make it three wins in a row in all competitions. Meanwhile, Arsenal are without a win in their last two games. Their last PL match ended in a shock 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth.
City’s 2-0 EFL Cup win against Arsenal last month was their first victory in their recent five head-to-head matches. The Gunners have also won once in that period, a 5-1 demolition last season. The remaining three games have resulted in a stalemate.
We can expect both teams to attack in this encounter and we can expect at least a couple of goals. City’s home advantage also gives them an edge heading into the game.
