SportPesa League title hopefuls AFC Leopards head to the coast to face Bandari FC at Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm EAT.
A fresh wound still stings Ingwe, as they come into this clash on the back of a painful elimination from the FKF Cup 25/26 last week in the Round of 64.
It was a little-known Nairobi East Regional League side BB Bread who delivered a stunning upset, knocking Ingwe out on penalties at the Police Sacco Grounds despite the visitors having staged a late comeback to force the shootout.

Bandari FC vs AFC Leopards preview
With the dream of a double title now out of reach, Fred Ambani’s charges have no choice but to channel all their energy into the top-flight crown, which remains well within their grasp.
They have won six of their last seven league outings and will carry a four-match winning streak into this weekend’s contest.
Kayci Odhiambo struck the decisive blow in their most recent SportPesa League fixture, a gritty 1-0 victory over Sofapaka.
That result marked their 10th win of the season, left them second on the log with 36 points four behind leaders Gor Mahia, who sit on 40.
In Mombasa, three points will be crucial as they look to trim that gap in what is shaping up to be an intense title chase.
As for the hosts, they arrive with confidence high after punching their ticket to the FKF Cup Round of 32.
In that very same Police Sacco Stadium, they comfortably brushed aside Githurai All Stars 3-0.
In the league, however, they are desperate to return to winning ways. Before the Cup break, they were handed a 1-0 defeat by Shabana FC at the Gusii Stadium.

Bernard Mwalala’s men will be gunning for three valuable points at home, hoping to throw another setback Ingwe’s way.
While AFC Leopards have lost just one of their last 10 matches away, racking up six wins and three draws, the Dockers have been solid on their own turf.
In nine home games, they’ve claimed five victories, settled for three draws, and suffered just one loss.

Speaking after their Cup progression, Bandari FC assistant coach Razak Kiswa said the win sets the tone for what’s ahead, with momentum building nicely.
“This is the standard we have setwe want to win every match. Progressing to the next round shows we’re on the right track, and that builds belief not just in the Cup, but in the league as well,” he remarked.
Bandari are still searching for their first win over Ingwe in their last four meetings.
AFC Leopards have taken two of those encounters, while last season saw both sides share the spoils in each of their two matchups.
