Thika Road Derby – KU Blak Blad vs KCB Rugby

The day’s headline clash will see Blak Blad host KCB Rugby at the BladBin in what promises to be a thrilling Thika Road Derby, kicking off at 4 PM.

The hosts will enter this match buoyed by confidence after winning their last four consecutive matches, having started the season on a losing note with a narrow defeat to Strathmore Leos.

A 23-18 victory over record champions Nondescripts last weekend extended their winning streak to four, and they will be eager to prolong that run and strengthen their league standing.

Meanwhile, the Bankers travel to the Bin seeking crucial points after missing out on a bonus last weekend despite beating Kenya Harlequins 24-12.

They will be determined to set things right, boosted by the return of key players from national sevens team Kenya Shujaa’s training camp in South Africa.

Strathmore Leos vs Daystar Falcons

A varsity derby headlines the action at the Strathmore Sports Complex in Madaraka, where the Leos welcome the Daystar Falcons.

The Falcons arrive fresh from a historic debut win last weekend in the top flight, where they whitewashed Kisumu RFC 48-12. They will look to build on that momentum.

On the other end, the Leos will be seeking to return to winning ways at home after suffering three consecutive defeats the most recent a heavy 81-21 loss to Kabras Sugar at the Kakamega Showground.

Elsewhere, along Ngong Road, Kenya Harlequin take on second-placed Menengai Oilers at the RFUEA Grounds in what promises to be a stern test for the hosts.

In the Rift Valley, Nakuru RFC host log leaders Kabras at the Nakuru Athletics Club in a clash set to test Nakuru’s resolve.

Further west, Impala travel to Kisumu to face Kisumu RFC, completing the Kenya Cup Matchday Six lineup.

The fixture between Nondescripts and MMUST has been postponed and will be played at a later date.
