Nairobi United vs Gor Mahia

Before the match, hosts Nairobi United had detailed seating arrangements for the 5,000-capacity artificial turf stadium.

Due to their large following, K’Ogalo were allotted 3,000 seats, while the hosts reserved 2,000 for their own fans, having already reduced ticket prices from 500 to 300 shillings for regular entry amid protests from Gor Mahia supporters.

For this highly anticipated fixture, Gor Mahia fans were designated Gate Two, while Nairobi United supporters were to enter via Gate Three to ensure smooth access.

The orange and yellow stands were allocated to the home side, with the blue, purple, and green sections reserved for visiting fans. The red stands were exclusively for VIPs.

Gor Mahia entered the match aiming to extend their recent resurgence and avenge last season’s heartbreaking FKF Cup final defeat to the same opponent.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Muyoti’s squad sought to assert their dominance in their first-ever top-flight meeting with the record champions and build on their previous victory over Tusker FC.
