The injury prematurely ends his season, but the club has assured fans that Kwakha is now on the correct recovery pathway and will begin his rehabilitation programme under medical supervision.

The Michael Olunga owned side has expressed full solidarity with their captain, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring he receives comprehensive care throughout his recovery journey.

The club noted that the midfielder remains an integral part of their long-term plans and is expected to make a full return ahead of next season if rehabilitation goes according to schedule.

Speaking shortly after the procedure, Kwakha shared a message of optimism and gratitude.

“The pain has gone down and I am feeling better on medication. The hard road to recovery begins, but I am a fighter, and I am positive I will be fully recovered. I want to thank everyone for their support, and to the fans, I promise you ,I will be back,” he said.

However, medical experts working with MOFA are confident that early intervention and proper recovery plans give Kwakha a strong chance of returning even sharper.

For MOFA, losing their captain is a significant blow, especially with the team building momentum in the NSL campaign in their second season in the second tier with promotion to the top tier being first priority for the Charles Bruno-coached side.

But the club maintains that his health comes first and has urged supporters to keep him in their thoughts as he begins the first steps toward healing.
