Sofapaka bounced back to SportPesa League winning form after edging Posta Rangers 2-0 in a standalone fixture played on Monday at the Dandora Stadium.
The Batoto Ba Mungu opened the scoring through Daniel Ng’ang’a in the 22nd minute beore Joseph Kuloba sealed the victory with a second goal in the 66th minute, ensuring the team took maximum points.

As a result, Ezekiel Akwana’s squad, who had suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Kenya Police FC in their prior outing, successfully returned to winning form and secured their third victory of the season.
The win propels the 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions to seventh place in the standings with 11 points from eight matches, having recorded two losses and three draws.

Meanwhile, Posta Rangers, who started the season strongly and even led the table at one point, are now feeling the sting of a close mid-season slump.
They have now gone four matches without a win, registering two losses and two draws.
After eight matches, the Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo-led side has dropped to sixth place. They have won three of their opening fixtures, drawn twice, and lost twice, leaving them with 12 points.
The Mailmen will now have a fortnight to regroup during the SportPesa League’s break for the FIFA November international window.
They will aim to come back strong for their upcoming clash with Kakamega Homeboyz, while Sofapaka will also use the pause to address areas needing improvement before they face a struggling Ulinzi Stars side in their next fixture.
