- The SportPesa League rescheduled clash between Kenya Police FC vs Sofapaka will mark the first official assignment for Serbian head coach Dusan Stojanovic.
- The match is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, at the Police Sacco Stadium.
- Kick-off: 3:00 PM EAT.
Reigning SportPesa league champions, Kenya Police FC, will embark on a new chapter under their new Serbian head coach, Dusan Stajanovic, on Wednesday, November 5.
The team will host Sofapaka in a rescheduled match at the Police Sacco Stadium, with kick off set for 3.00 PM EAT.

Stajanovic was appointed on Sunday, November 2, following the departure of former coach Etienne Ndayiragije who secured his place in club history by delivering their maiden Kenya Premier League title in the 24/25 season.
With the Law Enforcers exiting the CAF Champions League in the preliminary round, the new UEFA A-Licensed coach faces the immediate task of steering the team back to winning ways in the domestic league to defend their hard-earned crown.
Police have only contested three matches this season due to their continental commitments. From these outings, they have secured a single victory and two draws.
They commenced the season with a 0-0 draw against Ulinzi Stars, edged out APS Bomet with a narrow 1-0 win, and were then held to another goalless draw at home by an in-form Posta Rangers side.
These results have left Police FC languishing in 17th place on the table, just one point above the bottom-dwelling APS Bomet.
However, a victory on Wednesday could propel them as high as eighth place, depending on the goal difference, allowing them to leapfrog Sofapaka.
But Ezekiel Akwana’s squad are no pushovers; they are currently on a positive run, unbeaten in their last three matches and aiming to extend that streak.
They head into this clash with momentum from a massive 3-0 weekend win over Nairobi United at Dandora Stadium.
Joseph Kuloba opened the scoring early, Bramuel Simiyu added a second late in the game, and Japheth Mzungu put the result beyond doubt with a third.
Therefore, Batoto Ba Mungu will be targeting a third win this season, hoping for three points that could propel them to a potential fifth place on the log.
Dusan Stajanovic confident of maintaining Kenya Police’s glory

Speaking after his introduction, Stojanovic shared that his objective is to fulfill the club’s mission and align with the aspirations of both the management and the supporters, promising a fresh approach.
I understand the ambitions of Kenya Police FC, which is precisely why I wanted to join this project so we can move in the same direction. We are aware of the club’s recent success and its future targets. I can promise a strong start under my leadership,” said Stojanovic.
I am hopeful that everything will unfold as we envision. I can pledge hard work, a never-say-die attitude, and that we will consistently fight for our objectives. Currently, the foundation is solid, but we are lacking in goals. I am confident that with more time, we will rectify that.”
