The reigning SportPesa League champions, Kenya Police FC, have secured the services of Serbian international coach Dusan Stojanovic, following the departure of Etienne Ndayiragije a week ago.
Ndayiragije was relieved of his duties after just 11 months at the helm, a tenure during which he delivered a historic achievement by winning the club’s first-ever league title in the 24/25 season.

However, his time concluded after the Burundian tactician failed to guide the team to their maiden CAF Champions’ League group stage appearance.
The team was eliminated in the second preliminary round by Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman, suffering a 4-1 aggregate defeat.
Furthermore, in the two domestic league matches under his guidance, Etienne managed only a single victory and one draw.
Kenya Police FC appoint Serb Dusan Stojanovic
On Sunday, November 2, the Law Enforcers officially announced the arrival of Stojanovic, who now faces the significant task of steadying the ship and aspiring to lead the squad to further glory.
The club’s chairman, Nyale Munga, confirmed and unveiled the new coach, expressing confidence in the extensive expertise Stojanovic brings to propel the team to success.
“Following the departure of our former head coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, the executive and the board of trustees have acquired the services of coach Dusan Stojanovic, who has landed in Nairobi and is ready to take charge of the club,” Munga stated.

Meanwhile, speaking after his introduction, Stojanovic shared that his objective is to fulfill the club’s mission and align with the aspirations of both the management and the supporters, promising a fresh approach.
I understand the ambitions of Kenya Police FC and what they want to achieve, which is precisely why I wanted to join this project, so we can move in the same direction. We are aware of the club’s recent success and its future targets. I can promise a strong start under my leadership,” said Stojanovic.
I am hopeful that everything will unfold as we envision. I can pledge hard work, a never-say-die attitude, and that we will consistently fight for our objectives. Currently, the foundation is solid, but we are lacking in goals. I am confident that with more time, we will rectify that.”
The Serbian’s first assignment will be on Wednesday when Police face Sofapaka in a rescheduled match at the Police Sacco grounds, kicking off at 3:00 PM EAT.
