Kenya Morans will have a date against Uganda in the Safari 7s 2025 fixtures

The stage is set for the Safari 7s 2025 tournament taking place from 10 to 12 October at the Nyayo National Stadium where a total of 20 teams (12 men and 8 women) will battle for the Robin Cahill trophy.

The men have been drawn into three pools of four teams each with the Kenya men’s national rugby 7s team, Shujaa, headlining Pool A. They will be joined by French Renegades, UK Select and Walukuba Rugby as they prepare to defend their title on home soil.

Pool B has last year runners-up up Shogun, Uganda, 2025 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit champions KCB and Nyati who have replaced Zambia.

The final pool has Kenya Morans placed alongside dark horses Zimbabwe, Apache and ReUnion.

The women’s side sees defending champions Costa Blanca Barabarians headline Pool A where they will face Shogun, Kenya Cubs and Mwamba Select.

Pool B, labelled the Pool of Death, has the Kenya women’s 7s side Lionesses, Uganda, Belgium and Tunisia.

The top two teams in the men’s pool and two best third-placed teams will progress to the last 8 while the women’s side will see all teams progress to the main cup quarterfinals despite the results.
