Harambee Stars striker Masoud Juma continued his sparkling form in Lebanon, coming off the bench to score and provide an assist as Nejmeh SC defeated Shabab Al Sahel 3-1 in the Lebanese Premier League.
Nejmeh started brightly, pushing forward through the likes of Ali Hammam and Jean Black, but found a stubborn Sahel defense in the opening stages.

The breakthrough finally came in first-half stoppage time when Ali Kassas pounced in the 45+2 minute to put Nejmeh ahead going into the break.
The visitors showed resilience immediately after the break. In the 49th minute, Nigerian forward Victor Abata capitalised on a defensive slip to level matters at 1-1, briefly silencing the home fans and setting up a tense second half.

With the game in the balance, Nejmeh introduced Masoud Juma and once again the Kenyan striker proved to be the difference. In the 71st minute, Juma showed great composure inside the box to fire home and restore his side’s lead at 2-1.
Not content with just scoring, the Harambee Stars striker turned provider deep into stoppage time. In the 90+7 minute, Juma set up Ali Kassas, who buried his second of the night to make it 3-1 and secure all three points for Nejmeh.

The match marked the second consecutive game in which Juma has come off the bench to score. His contribution a goal and an assist in just over 20 minutes of action underlines his growing importance at Nejmeh and sharpens his reputation as a reliable impact player for his new club
The victory sees Nejmeh maintain a perfect start to the season with three wins in three matches, placing them at the top of the Lebanese Premier League table. Shabab Al Sahel, meanwhile, will be left regretting their missed chances after working hard to equalise early in the second half.
