Nottingham Forest make the stronger start

Nottingham Forest entered the match searching for their first Premier League points of the season after losing 1-0 to Leeds United on the opening weekend.

The visitors started confidently and created several opportunities through direct passing, aggressive pressing and quick counterattacks. Liverpool controlled periods of possession but struggled to create clear chances against Forest’s compact defensive structure.
