The stage is set for the much-anticipated final leg of the 2025 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit, the Dala 7s, with the pools for both Division One and Division Two now officially released.

Following five thrilling rounds since the inaugural event in Driftwood in July, this sixth and final tournament promises an electrifying climax from Saturday the 13th to Sunday the 14th of September 2025 at the Mamboleo Showground in Kisumu County.

Kabras Sugar are the defending champions and will headline Pool A.

After a strong performance at the Kabeberi 7s last weekend, they will be aiming to maintain that momentum.

Their objective is to finish even more powerfully than their third-place result in the previous round while also defending the maiden title they claimed in 2024.

However, their group is no walk in the park, as they’ve been drawn alongside the impressive Catholic Monks, who currently sit sixth overall and have enjoyed a solid season.

They will also face formidable opponents in Nakuru RFC and another competitive university side, MMUST.

Pool B is led by Daystar Falcons, joined by MSC Rugby, Kenya Harlequin – who have struggled this season despite being the reigning champions and Nondescripts.

Nondies will be riding high after securing a spot in Division One courtesy of their Division Two triumph at the Kabeberi 7s.

Meanwhile, the overall leaders and three-time event champions this season, KCB, will headline Group C as they look to secure the overall championship.

To claim the title, they must advance to the semifinals. In the group stage, they are set to face Mwamba RFC, Homeboyz RFC, and Embu RFC.

Elsewhere, having stumbled at the Kabeberi 7s over the weekend, Strathmore Leos another formidable side this season with two victories, will be seeking to bounce back in pursuit of the overall title.

They currently sit in second place, just nine points behind the Bankers.

Therefore, the Willis Ojal-led side must reach the finals to position themselves favorably for the overall championship.

However, to progress beyond the group stage, they will have to dig deeper as they have been placed alongside heavyweights Menengai Oilers, Impala RFC, and the hosts, Kisumu RFC in pool D.
