- Wolfsberger AC has confirmed the signing of Kenya international Ryan Ogam.
- The Austrian Bundesliga outfit has signed the 22-year-old from Tusker FC on an undisclosed deal.
- The club’s head coach, Dietmar Riegler, stated that they scouted him during the recently concluded CHAN tournament and were impressed with his abilities.
It is official: Ryan Ogam Rabok is set to join Austrian Bundesliga outfit Wolfsberger AC immediately after the international break, the club has confirmed.
Ogam has been an exceptional player not only for his former club, Tusker FC, but also shone brightly in the recently concluded 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament, where he scored two goals.
Tusker nor the new club has yet to disclose the official contract details or the transfer fee.
The 20-year-old is currently with the national team, Harambee Stars, as they prepare for the upcoming two 2026 World Cup qualifier matches against The Gambia on Friday, September 5, and Seychelles on September 9.

The club has confirmed the lethal forward will join them just after the international break.
“Two new players, Ryan Wesley Ogam Rabok and Austin Uzondu Harrison, are also joining the Wolves squad. The 20-year-old center forward Ryan Wesley Ogam Rabok joins Lavanttal from his native Kenya, Tusker Football Club, and is expected to bring new life to the attack.
The attacker is expected in Wolfsberg after the international break, during which he will be playing for Kenya in World Cup qualifiers,” their statement read.

Speaking on the signing of the former Rainbow FC player, the club’s head coach, Dietmar Riegler, stated that they scouted him during the recently concluded CHAN tournament and were impressed with his abilities.
They are delighted to sign the first-ever Kenyan player.
We watched Ryan during the last tournament and were impressed by his talent. We have a successful history with young talent from Africa and are delighted to sign the first Kenyan footballer for WAC.
We will do everything in our power to provide him with the best possible environment so he can fully realize his potential,” Dietmar Riegler stated.

Who are Wolfsberger AC?
Wolfsberger Athletik Club (commonly known as Wolfsberger AC or WAC) is a professional Austrian football club based in Wolfsberg, Carinthia.
The team competes in the Austrian Football Bundesliga, the top flight of Austrian football, and is known as RZ Pellets WAC.
Founded in 1931, Wolfsberger spent most of its history in the lower divisions before rising to prominence in the 21st century.
