Bryan Mbeumo joins Manchester Unted

Manchester United have officially unveiled Bryan Mbeumo as their latest acquisition from Brentford in a five-year deal running until 2030, with an option to extend for a further year.

The club confirmed the arrival of the Cameroonian international on Monday, July 21, 2025, in a deal worth £65 million (Approx Ksh 9.8 Billion), with an additional £6 million in performance-related add-ons.

The 25-year-old joins the Red Devils at a crucial moment as the club aims to strengthen its squad following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign, which saw them finish 15th in the Premier League.

Mbeumo becomes the third player to walk through the doors of Carrington this summer, following the arrivals of forward Matheus Cunha and left-back Diego Leon.

The dynamic winger has been outstanding for Brentford, particularly in the 2024/25 season, where he netted 20 Premier League goals ranking fourth in the league and provided eight assists.

In-addition, since Brentford’s promotion to the top tier, Mbeumo has averaged an impressive 18 goal contributions per season.

He joined Brentford from Troyes in 2019 and he amassed 70 goals and 51 assists across 242 appearances for the Bees.

Speaking after signing his contract with Ruben Amorim’s side, Mbeumo expressed his long-held ambition to represent United. He shared his excitement and commitment to improving his game and helping the club return to winning ways.

My mentality is to always be better than I was yesterday. I know that I have the spirit and character to reach another level here learning from Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world-class players.
