AFC Leopards will be looking to secure three points against Sofapaka on Wednesday evening, 19 February, at the Dandora Stadium, as they target a top-three spot in the FKF Premier League midweek fixture in Week 22.

The match will kick off at 4:00 PM.

Ingwe, unbeaten in their last five matches (3W, 2D), come into the game high on confidence following their 1-2 victory over Mara Sugar at Awendo Green Stadium in Migori County last weekend.

Peter Maker gave the visiting team the lead in the first half, before Noah Jagongo equalized shortly after the break.

However, Ingwe were awarded a penalty, which Kayci Odhiambo converted nine minutes before stoppage time, securing all three points and propelling them to fourth place with 33 points.

A win today could see Fred Ambani’s side move up to third place in the standings with 36 points, one point ahead of third-placed Gor Mahia, who will face Bidco United in Machakos tomorrow.

Additionally, a victory would boost Ingwe’s title ambitions, putting them just three points behind second-placed Tusker (39 points) and five behind league leaders Police (41 points), both of whom have played an extra match.

Meanwhile, Sofapaka will be aiming to build on their 2-0 victory over KCB at the Kenyatta Stadium, despite being a man down.

Jack Onganya scored in the first half, and Edward Omondi doubled the lead shortly after Charles Melubo’s dismissal.

This win marked a return to form for Ezekiel Akwana’s side after a four-match winless streak.

Three points today could see Batoto Ba Mungu climb to seventh plae with 31 points, provided in-form Kakamega Homeboyz lose to Murang’a SEAL.

The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at Dandora Stadium, with Kelly Madada scoring early in the seventh minute before Edward Ondimo equalized late.

As both teams clash for supremacy in the standings at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, there will be a doubleheader.

Ulinzi Stars will be aiming for their second consecutive win as they host struggling Kariobangi Sharks at 4:00 PM. Sharks are hoping to snap their nine-match winless streak.
