• The Kenya Police FC vs Bidco United FKFPL match is planned to start at 4PM.
  • The game will be played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
  • Some of the other FKFPL matches that will be on offer on Saturday include the Mara Sugar FC versus AFC Leopards and Sofapaka versus KCB FC clash.

The Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) continues this Saturday with a number of crunch fixtures lined up in different venues across the country including the Kenya Police FC game against Bidco United.

Some of these matches include the Mara Sugar FC versus AFC Leopards’ clash and KCB’s trip to Machakos to play Sofapaka.

However, the eyes of most football stakeholders will be fixed at the match between FKFPL league leaders Kenya Police FC and Bidco United, who are one of the sides battling relegation.

Kenya Police FC will be looking to collect the maximum points and increase their chances of lifting the title at the end of the season.

The Law Enforcers have amassed 38 points from 20 matches since the start of the 2024/2025 FKFPL season, four more than the third placed club Gor Mahia FC, who have a game in hand.

On the other hand, Bidco United currently sit at position 17 in the competitive table with just 18 points with only their better goal difference separating them from the bottom placed side Nairobi City Stars.

Nonetheless, Police FC head coach Etienne Ndayiragije is aware that Bidco United can cause them problems on Saturday and dash their hopes of clinching the FKFPL title.

According to him, he will approach the game with caution and give their opponents the respect they deserve.

“The prospect of clinching the title brings a sense of urgency and pressure. However, we should remain calm and focused. For us, the match against Bidco United is an opportunity to recognize the value of humility and approach the game with the respect it deserves.

Our objective is to solidify our lead and distance ourselves from our closest rivals Tusker and Gor Mahia.  Victory could serve as a statement of intent. Solidifying our position as title contenders. It will send a strong message to our rivals,” he was quoted by the Star.

Meanwhile, Ndayiragije’s counterpart Anthony Akhulia stated that although they are preparing for this match as underdogs, they have what it takes to stop Kenya Police FC.

“There are numerous instances throughout history of teams that have failed due to their arrogance. Innumerable upsets have occurred in the beautiful game, where underdogs have stepped up and defeated Titans,” explained Akhulia.

A win for Bidco United will increase their tally to 21 and likely help them to leapfrog FC Talanta, who are set to play Bandari FC  at the Mbaraki Stadium from 3 PM East African Time (EAT).
