Kenya 7s

Fijian-born Kenyan international Jone Kubu has finally been called up to the Kenya 7s national team for the first time as the squad embarks on the Vancouver 7s marking the fourth outing of the HSBC SVNS Series 2025.

The decision was revealed on Thursday morning as head coach Kevin Wambua named the 13-man traveling squad that will represent the country in Canada.

Same as Kubu, Wambua also handed a debut to highly rated youngster Jackson Siketi with the two players set to replace Benson Salem and Festus Shiasi in the squad.

George Ooro and Samuel Asati will continue in their co-captaincy roles as the team looks to improve on their positions in the standings.
