After missing out on the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) Week 15 fixture, 12-time Kenyan champions AFC Leopards will be back in action on Saturday evening where they will welcome FC Talanta at Dandora Stadium (1600EAT).
Being their first match of the year, Ingwe will aim to pick up from where they left off last year with a 2-0 win over Bandari.
However, the Fred Ambani-coached side has faced some internal turmoil this week as the players reportedly downed their tools on Thursday citing unpaid December salaries. They however returned to training on Friday after intervention from the club management.
After 14 matches, Ingwe currently sits in 6th place with 22 points, having won six, drawn four, and suffered four defeats.

Meanwhile, Jackline Juma’s Talanta is on a four-match winless streak having secured just one victory in their last eight fixtures.
They enter this match on the back of a 1-0 setback against Kakamega Homeboyz last weekend.
Given their poor form, Talanta is currently 17th in the standings with 14 points from 16 matches having won three, drawn five and lost eight.
In their last six meetings, AFC Leopards has triumphed three times with the remaining three encounters ending in draws. Ingwe won their most recent encounter last season 3-0.
Prior to this match, Kariobangi Sharks will host in-form Ulinzi Stars at 1:00 PM local time.

Sharks began the year with a disappointing 0-0 draw against Mathare United last weekend and will be seeking to bounce back having secured just one win in their last 12 matches.
As a result, they sit 11th in the standings with 19 points.
Elsewhere, Danstun Nyudo’s side is soaring high after securing their second consecutive victory over Mara Sugar and they will be keen to extend their good run.
They currently sits in the 14th place on the log with 19 points from four wins, seven draws and they have been defeated five times.
At Mumias Complex, Kakamega Homeboyz will face Bidco United while Mara Sugar will aim for redemption after their disappointing loss to Ulinzi Stars when they take on Mathare United at Awendo Stadium.
