The Premier League finally returns this weekend after an unusually long international break, and Matchweek 6 has a couple of standout fixtures to look forward to.

Liverpool host Manchester City is the blockbuster game, with City returning to league action as the only team in the division with a 100 per cent record.

Arsenal will also be looking to respond after their shock 3-0 defeat at Brighton when they host unbeaten Leeds United.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur meet at Old Trafford in another major fixture, although both clubs desperately need points after disappointing starts.

Spurs are dead last on the table with two points after five games, level with Fulham as both teams seek to turn their misfortunes around.

Arsenal vs Leeds United – Saturday, 2:30PM – Emirates Stadium

Arsenal return to Premier League action looking to put their 3-0 defeat at Brighton behind them.

The Gunners had won four of their opening five matches and sit second on 12 points, three behind leaders Manchester City.

Leeds, meanwhile, have made an excellent start and are unbeaten after five matches, collecting nine points.

Leeds have lost none of their first five matches and have quickly adapted to life back in the topflight, however, they have only won one of their last five games.

Arsenal have been superior in recent matches, winning all of the last five meetings against Leeds including a 4-0 victory in January.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Saturday, 5PM – Stamford Bridge

The Blues are desperate to bounce back after a 3-0 defeat to Brentford last time out when they host Bournemouth this Saturday.

Xabi Alonso’s side has conceded league-high 12 goals as they now look to avoid becoming just the third team in competition history to concede 2+ goals in all six of their opening matches of a campaign.

The Cherries are winless in their opening five games of the seasons and come into the game just above the relegation zone in 17th place with three points.

The last three games between these sides have resulted in draws, however the hosts come into this game as favorites to win here.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur – Saturday, 7:30PM – Old Trafford

This could be one of the most important games of the weekend for two clubs desperately seeking momentum.

Manchester United have collected only five points from their opening five matches, while Tottenham are bottom with just two points and are still searching for their first victory.

Spurs have also failed to score in four of their first five league games and are rooted to the bottom of the table with two points.

United were 2-0 winners the last time these sides met in February, courtesy of goals from Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo. The duo will be key for Michael Carrick’s side this weekend.

Liverpool vs Manchester City – Sunday, 6:30PM – Anfield

Manchester City return from the international break as the only remaining team in the Premier League with a perfect record, winning all five matches and sitting top on 15 points.

Liverpool have nine points from their opening five matches and remain unbeaten, although they have won only two games.

Andoni Iraola’s team have drawn three matches and beaten Bournemouth 1-0 immediately before the international break.

Liverpool have conceded only three goals in their first five matches, and their unbeaten start means they have not yet suffered a league defeat.

Man City have beaten Liverpool the last three times these sides have faced each other and have the upper hand here.
