The Netherlands will host Germany in the opening round of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League on Thursday as they look to capitalize on home advantage to bag all three points.
These two nations will renew one of Europe’s most iconic rivalries as they take centre stage in Group B. Greece and Serbia are the other two teams in the tough Group.
Both nations begin a new era, with Xavi Hernández taking charge of the Netherlands and Jürgen Klopp starting his Germany tenure.

Despite leaving Depay out, Xavi has heaps of talent to choose from as Liverpool trio of Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil Van Dijk headline the squad.

Tijani Reijnders and Frenkie De Jong are also both set to start in midfield, with Noa Lang settling for a place on the bench.
The visiting Germany are boosted by the return of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen in goal for the first round of rotation by Klopp.
Jamal Musiala and Joshua Kimmich are also back and expected to feature in the starting XI, with Arsenal forward Kai Havertz leading the attacking line for the Germans.
