Newcastle must bounce back after a heavy defeat when they host surprise package Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Magpies were hammered 4-1 on Monday night at Leeds United, and need to turn the tide around in what is not an easy match.
That result ended Newcastle’s unbeaten league start and exposed some defensive vulnerabilities that manager Matthias Jaissle will be keen to address.
Hull have by far been the most impressive out of the usual top clubs, coming into the game in fourth place with eight points.
The newly promoted Tigers remain unbeaten in the Premier League and held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in their latest league outing.

Newcastle have the stronger squad on paper and home advantage, but Hull have already demonstrated that they can compete with established Premier League sides.
The hosts have five points from their opening four games and are without a win in their last two Premier League matches.
