Argentina captain Lionel Messi, Norway’s Erling Haaland, French captain Kylian Mbappe and Cape Verde veteran goalkeeper Vozinha are among the stars who earned places in the fan-voted FIFA World Cup Dream Team after producing memorable performances throughout the tournament.
The biggest talking point from the supporters’ selection is the inclusion of 40-year-old Vozinha, who edged out several high-profile goalkeepers despite Spain’s Unai Simón winning the official Golden Glove award presented by FIFA’s Technical Study Group.

Cape Verde enjoyed a remarkable debut appearance at the World Cup, with Vozinha playing a central role in the nation’s historic campaign.
The experienced shot-stopper delivered a series of outstanding displays, including a seven-save performance in a goalless draw against eventual champions Spain during the group stage.
He also frustrated Argentina in the knockout rounds, making several crucial saves that forced the South American giants into extra time before they eventually secured qualification.
His heroics throughout the tournament earned him nearly 40 percent of the fan vote, making him the preferred goalkeeper in the supporters’ XI.

Norway striker Erling Haaland also received overwhelming support after leading his country to its best-ever World Cup finish in decades.
The Manchester City forward finished the tournament with seven goals in just five appearances, emerging as one of the competition’s most clinical finishers.
Among his standout performances was a brilliant brace that inspired Norway to a famous 2-1 victory over five-time world champions Brazil in the Round of 16.
Although Norway’s impressive journey came to an end in the quarter-finals against England, Haaland’s goalscoring exploits ensured he secured a place in the tournament’s dream team.
World Cup winner Lionel Messi also featured prominently in the attacking line after another influential tournament with Argentina. The Argentine captain continued to prove his class on the biggest stage, helping his nation reach the latter stages while breaking more World Cup records along the way.
France contributed three players to the supporters’ XI, with defender Dayot Upamecano, midfielder Michael Olise and superstar forward Kylian Mbappé all making the cut following consistent performances throughout the tournament.
Spain, crowned world champions after defeating Argentina in the final, also had a strong representation. Full-backs Pedro Porro and Marc Cucurella were selected in defence, while midfield general Rodri earned a deserved place after controlling games from the centre of the park.
England midfielder Jude Bellingham completed the midfield trio after another outstanding World Cup campaign, where his leadership, creativity and tireless displays helped England reach the latter stages of the competition.
Argentina defender Lisandro Martínez was the only central defender outside France to be voted into the side, highlighting his importance during Argentina’s impressive run to the final.
One notable omission from the fan-selected XI was Spain’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
Despite playing a significant role in Spain’s triumphant campaign, the youngster narrowly missed out on a place in the final team as supporters opted for more experienced attacking stars.
